- 1 cup Butter (browned)
- 1 cup Brown sugar (packed)
- 1/4 cup White sugar
- 1 Eggs (whole)
- 1 Egg yolk (extra yolk for richness)
- 2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1 1/4 tsp Salt (more salt)
- 2 cups Chocolate chips (mix of chips and chopped)

Brown the butter in a saucepan until nutty and golden. Let cool 10 min. Watch carefully - it goes from brown to burnt fast.
